WHY NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR SINGERS, I KNOW IT IS NOT AN INSTRUMENT, WELL REALLY IT IS YOUR VOICE IS AN INSTRUMENT UNTO GOD, BUT WHY NOT HAVE A ROOM WHERE SINGERS CAN GO AND TALK ABOUT THE UPS AND DOWNS AND JUST BE AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO ONE ANTOTHER. JUST A SUGGESTION.

i think the singers room is very important, because like you said yes our voices are an instrument, that should be used to the glory of God. the singers room can help people with their voices, because there are some people that don't take care of their voices. like tieing their neck up with a scarf when they are around a lot of air or getting the proper rest to rest their voice and body and also like staying away from to many dairy products. all these kind of things singers need to know and most don't. most singers have just been singin since they were in the church choir so singin is just what we do, but as you and your voice go on and on becomes to be a wear and tear your voice and body, because of not giving it the proper care. that's why a lot of people are always wondering why they're horse right after they sing and its just from not giving it a little t.lc.; but yeah to all the singers i encourage you to keep on sangin yo heart out for de lawd!
remember every instrument is important when beeing used for God, because it can break down everyone of satan's strong holds, because it's in the power of praise and worship.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT, I TOTALLY AGREE ON EVERYTHING YOU HAVE STATED IN YOUR MESSAGE, A LOT OF SINGERS DONT KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES. SO THE ROOM WILL JUST HELP IN DEALING WITH "SINGERS ISSUES" JUST LIKE THE OTHER ROOMS HELP DEAL WITH THE OTHER ISSUES. I ENCOURAGE ANYBODY THAT READS THIS TO JUST SIGN YOUR NAME IF YOU AGREE. YOU DON'T KNOW WHO THE SINGING ROOM WILL HELP, LETS SUPPORT FELLOW SINGERS AND PEOPLE OF GOD. SO PELASE DON'T JUST READ AND LOG OUT, AT LEAST TAKE FIVE SECONDS TO SING YOUR NAME. PLEASE. THANKS

I AM IN AGREEMENT WITH A ROOM FOR SINGERS ALSO. WE NEED AN OUTLET! WE GO THROUGH ALOT AS SOLOIST AND SINGING IN A CHOIR!

i am just so excited for what 4hisglory is doing, i would not trade this website for the world.
-
i also like this ideal!!!
-
think the singers room is very important too.
That why I have one on my message board.
:D

Singers are over-rated.

(I'm just kidding folks.)

I agree with B3. :) j/k
But but I do believe (this may get me in trouble with some of you guys :) ) the church produces alot of singers that think they can sing but can't.
At the church I grew up at, there was these brothers that use to sing in church as little kids and everyone use to tell them how good they sounds etc.. you know the routine. But by the age of 13, they no longer sounded good but they still thought they could sing because people had been telling them that for 8 years.
I'm pretty sure that this is a common thing though.
BTW, the 'Gospel Singer' room is coing veeeeery soon.

:D YESSS I was just about to ask someone if there was a singing room anywhere that people knew about.
It would be good to add one the this site. It would connect singers with musicians as well as provide a place where singers can speak with each other and get advice and lyrics etc.
Musicians could find work and singers could find some musicians WHO ARE SAVED!!! It's not always easy to find musicians who are saved.

The Singing room is located on http://ChurchArtist.com

I agree that we need a singers room on LGM. Looks like there are a lot of us out there checking out LGM, but nothing on it for just singers. How about it, Daryl? :?
