This is a simple warm-up exercise that i use..
orchestrated around the kit
its called 5-5-3

(2) groupings of 3 over 2 followed by (1) triplet.
                         5          5          3 
orchestrated  RLRKK   RLRKK    RLK
        5             5          3
or LRLKK     RLRKK    LRK

etc....

for all you jazz cats and those interested in 4 way independence.. orchestrate and substitute the Left foot...on the hats...
 try it... it gets very interesting... and practical, you can use it in alot of different situations...
