So which do you guys prefer???
I'm all over Myspace these days and just about everyday I keep stumbling on, and getting friend requests from all sorts of different Custom drum companies. I mean there's GMS, and Dynasty Custom Drums, and Creation drums, and I can't forget my man IBuilddrums doin his thang with Covenant drums.
But then of course we have our front line drum companies, you know...The Pearls, and the DW's, the Yamaha's...etc
Not to say that any one has better quality or sound over the other...I'm just curious...if you had to choose, which one would you go with, or does it matter?

For a main set I would go with a Front line brand (Yamaha, DW, GMS, Sonor etc.). For a travel kit for small gigs I would go with a custom. Also, I would go custom for snares. Not all of them but some. I'm really diggin Yamaha drums man. WOW. GB.

i'm not sure, i like the fact that going with custom drums allows you to have a seriously indivdual/ personalised set if you wanted. lol. :)

Front line is not bad at all, it's just a wide variety to choose from and if you are like me you'll be tryin to get one of each cuz they all have different sounds, lol. At least with custom you can see it through the whole process like building your house from the ground up.
