Anybody know anything about a Hammond 101. I just ran across a VERY GOOD deal on one, and want to know if its worth it or not. Any responses will help

the a seris,b,c,d models are pretty much the same.if it has 2 61 note keyboards,drawbars,percussion,vibrato/chorus,tube preamp-it's a b3 with speakers in an enclosed cabinet be blessed,be careful

The A-101 is just a slightly different case version of the A-100. The A-100 has the exact same innards as a B-3 except it has an internal speaker and internal power amp driving it.

what's a good deal,if you don't mind my asking?

docjohn, had it been an A-101, it would have been $450. Over the phone the seller told me it was an A-101, when I got to the house to look at it, it was not an A-101, so I left it alone!

Man, if you got an A101 for $450, that would've been MASSIVE.
Good deals are out there. I got a Hammond L100 for $50!
Keep lookin man.
