In a word...ROBBED! I seen the whole show and Third was certainly the most impressive cat on the stage.

Can you imagine the number of cymbals that they had to go through to put something 'presentable' for the finals? *lol*

...some dude that tied with Third on the regionals out of Texas. He went to that same famed High School that Chris Dave and Eric Harland went to.

Same thing with virtually any company though! I heard my share of inconsistant Sabians, that is why I dont care what company I buy cymbals from because all companies are going to have the same problems...

Cosign. He's a really humble cat too. Willing to show you anything. From my understanding he just struck a deal with DDrum. Tim from Ddrum said that Big Mike is bringing in all the drummer cats he knows.

...that's pretty cool I guess. :-\ He was with Yamaha for a while like Big Mike.
...I hope he changes the hardware like "Stiks" did to his ddrum. LOL

...dude, j_kay, Sabe, Sugabear, Duvals and I saw JD and Third go at it at the G.C. Finals like 2 years ago and they put on a show to remember. We all said that we watched the finals of G.C. that year here in Florida. It was sort of true. :-\

Let me tell you, Third is one of the coolest cats you can ever meet but one of the sickest drummers, he is a very natural player with a big knowledge of music, he is a local legend loved by all people. the brother took me under his wing and gave me confidence to strive to be the best I could be and push the envelope to the limit. Keep a look out for him, he is about to blow up. He is making major moves in the smooth jazz industry. Check him out with his band Eric Darius

...I should've been more specific.....it was the District Finals in Tampa. It was the same year as the Youtube clip that is up of Third at the Grand Finals on this thread. I'm telling you, it was crazy in that room we were in. :o Even at the time of the score cards. We were all in awe. lol
