Title: Here's the gospel blues scale in all 12 keys!!

The gospel blues scale can be used to do crazy runs and also the blues scale can give your music that down home kick.....Try add these while your backing up the preacher....and even in some of your shouting music....play with it anyway you'd like....Just don't give up...I hope this helps someone....God Bless!!


Gospel Blues Scales in all 12 keys
Formula= 1, b3, 4, #4, 5, b7
C= C,Eb,F,F#,G,Bb
C#/Db= C#,E,F#,G,G#,B  OR  Db,E,Gb,G,Ab,B
D= D,F,G,G#,A,C
D#/Eb= D#,F#,G#,A,A#,C# OR  Eb,Gb,Ab,A,Bb,Db
E= E,G,A,A#,B,D
F= F,Ab,Bb,B,C,Eb
F#/Gb= F#,A,B,C,C#,E  OR  Gb,A,B,C,Db,E
G= G,Bb,C,C#,D,F
G#/Ab= G#,B,C#,D,D#,F#  OR  Ab,B,Db,D,Eb,Gb
A= A,C,D,D#,E,G

I've played the C blues scale forever and had no idea what scale it was I just knew that it was in the key of C. Thanks a lot gentlemen.

Are these scales the same in gospel jazz or are these used for soloing??

You can use them for soloing. You can put them together with a power chord in the left hand
