Title: Tom Joiner/Tye Tribb. Orlando
Post by: JFunky on August 29, 2007, 10:14:27 AM
For all of you cats near or in Central Florida, Tom Joiner, Bobby Jones and Tye Tribbet will be in O-town this weekend with Tye and Bobby performing on Sunday.  So in other words, your boy Spanky might be in the "O".  I don't know if he's bringing the band or what.  Maybe someone else knows.

Quit starting gossip man.  You know how this board is. LOL

At any rate, that's going to be a hott set.  I'm actually glad that Spanky is back with Tye doing some real positive, Life Saving/Changing music.

 8) now if I answer this ? that would be kinda like gossip, but again I know the truth, Lil Tony from chi-town was playing bass for Diddy as well, and he got the guillotine X as well, lets just say this, they weren't where God needed them to be and they both learned the hard way....Tony Russell is J Kee's old bass player after Maurice, he was hittn wit Calvin

Yo I remember John P Kee old bass player was tight...I think it was the late 90's when I saw him...Well Spank is where he needs to be...Diddy said something one time to Spank and I didn't like the comment so I am glad Spank is back with Tye

Man you know if you ask them cats they'll tell you that it was just a season.  Anyway, enough about that. I know you're not gossiping but stating facts.  I really don't want to get on anyone's bad side anymore cause that's not what I'm about.

Tye Tribbett and his crew are killer!

They do some sick arrangements, that's for sure.

I don't know but everytime I listen to that song I wait for the freakin' snare and backbeat to kick in.  It's so funky but yet they held back.  I guess the whole point of it was to keep you on the edge of the seat waiting for it.  So then if you all remember it, the hand claps and foot stomps kick in. LOL

I love that "Wah Wah" guitar.  Gotta love the 70's.  That was just an all around funky era.

I was born in 1980.  Sheen is older than me. LOL  I still have my Original Atari somewhere and I buried a lot of my G.I. Joe's in the backyard of my old house in P.R. LOL  I bet they're still there next to some old Hot Wheels.

Anyway, you know what song I like and it's an 80's song?  "All night long" Lionel Richie. LOL
