He is such a perfectionist on the set.. As you can see this is why he gets so much work. Mr. Napper has a tight pocket and he just knows where to put the fills and chops. This DVD will definitely be in my collection. Hey, when is Jeremy H. going to do a DVD. I know he will stop by to read this thread too. Give us a DVD Jeremy ;D...Stay Blessed, Nate J.

...he's so underated. This guy is such a gifted musician. He knows what to play and when to play all of the right stuff.

I LOVED IT!!! ;D I definately pickin this up when it drops!!

I got footage of alot of the songs he did live at a concert last week, once I get permission from him "IF", I'll load some footage up, every song on this promo he did it live at the concert and I was up on statge with him so it came out perfect....

I respect this man so much although I know little of him but do know he has a reputation in the studio and in Live Recordings that is unmatched. This guy speaks volumes without saying a word. He lets the sticks and kit do the talking. Calvin Napper may be underrated to "us" but the right people know exactly who he is.
He's definetly on the "A" list for Session Work. When I hear the name Calvin Napper, the words longevity, solid, minstrel, humble and trust come to mind. This guy gets the job done. I think we all have a lot to learn from him. Someone needs to do an article or something on him because without a doubt he is one of Gospel Musics Greatest no matter what anyone says. I think we all can agree with that.

No, Diligent Hands was his first DVD. This is a new, upcoming release from Mr. Napper. I am intrigued to know why this would be a controversy.
