I saw Boney James at the Oceanside Amph...
Drummer Amare Williams was on the kit.. I believe he's from Chi-town. Dude is nice.. His pocket licks are nice.. great dynamics and good attitude. Class act...
Anyone herd of him?

His name is Omari Williams.....He's the drummer that is playing in the L. Spencer Smith & Testament DVD..........."Assignment #1".....

I just checked out the DVD and this is not him.. My friend byron knows him so he tells me he is from Chicago.

Yeah it is......Look at his pics...he has a bunch of pics of him playing with Boney James....and he even has the set used in the "Assignment #1" dvd in his house....with that one deep orange snare as seen in the dvd as well...GB

I saw him with Boney earlier this year at the Long Beach Convention Center when I was in L.A. I dug that guy. Nice pocket. And Mary J's bass player was on that gig too.
