I know there's a separate prayer request forum, but y'all actually know me, so I'm putting it here.
Both my wife and I got laid off today (same company). Please pray that the Lord guides us into new careers, and that we find them quickly. We are "paid current", so neither of us have another check coming to us.
There were able to keep me on the list of contract closers, but I still lose my car reimbursement, insurance, and my child support will start racking up as of today.
I'm trusting that the Lord will pull us through this (He has in the past), and I appreciate all of you keeping us in your prayers as well.
Maybe I'll get that big music break in the next couple of days... (unlikely ;D but I gotta try lol).

Keep your head lifted up,and your eyes on Jesus.It's times like these when the enemy will try to shake your faith.Just remember God is able and he won't let you down.I've been there before,you and your wife have my prayers.God will pull you through,hold on and believe.

It's all very much appreciated, guys. I know that He can and will pull us through this, but neither one of us really expected this to the full extent that it is.
As of tomorrow morning, we're hitting the streets and begging for spare change (I'm KIDDING!!! lol).
We are both going to give it our all in finding something new, and lean on Him for guidance in making our decisions... all the while hoping that He will bring us something new and better than we've ever known before.
Again, I appreciate all your prayers, and I'm very fortunate to have a group of guys/gals like this to turn to for spiritual support.

I know about this first hand, me and my wife went through a similar situation, but it turned out to be a big turning point in my life.

hey man, just remember that God is sovereign, and that He is always in control no matter how crazy life gets. maybe he's opening the door to something better....we can't see it now, but He's already laid out your path before you, just trust in Him. One of my fav quotes says:
"When you can't see God's hand, you can trust His heart"

I'm not a guitarist, so I don't usually come to this room; but I wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you and your family.
I'm a witness that all things really DO work together for them that love God and who are the called according to His purpose. :D
And if that doesn't help, try singing Ricky Dillard's "Things Will Work Out" to yourself... that really encourages me. I'll be happy to give you the lyrics if you don't know the song.

It is in those times that we honor God the most by just being faithful to what He has promised. Jay God will be faithful to what is promised if you allow Him to have the place of Honor in the situation that you and your wife are facing. Having done all that you can do let God be God. What up my man,
Pray psalms 75:6-7 for the next 7 days and see God at his best. I believe that God will work it out before the next seven days but do your part and i know we will see the testimony posted. Read it 21 times a day for the next seven days.
