Can anyone (besides me of course :) ) solve the Rubik's cube?
-
Not me. I came one square away on several occasions, but never got it completely solved.
My older sister has completed it several times, though. I hate her. LOL! (j/k)

Whatever, lol. I don't have the patience for that.
-
Dunno. I'll have to try it and let you know the result.

Me neither Nessa. Its funny though I can sit at a keyboard all day and figure out a song but I don't have the patience to fool with a rubik's cube....go figure ?/?

This is were my "musical" problem is, I can sit down with a Cube for hours but only practice for like 5 minute before my mind wanders. :(

I guess we're opposites then because I would get that Rubik's cube and fumble with it and fumble with it......next thing I know it's thrown across the room somewhere and I'm back on my keyboard playing. When it comes to puzzles and things like that, my husband can sit there and put things together piece by piece but I get frustrated with it. I wonder why ?/?

(Sorry LyricTenor, but u gotta admit, that was Hilariously funny!! ;D ;D ;D... Ah, real funny! :D :D... er, kinda funny :)... um, What was the question again? :-\ :-\)
Seriously, I've completed the Rubik's Cube a few times ... Once I learned the pattern and theory behind it, (which my daughters taught me), it's just a matter of applying it and working at it until you got it down pat... Hey! Kinda like playing the keyboard, without using the "Transpose" button!! ;D (Still ROTFL!!! ;D ;D ;D)

Yeah.... let me know if you find one, Wolfman. I'd love to have it in my collection just for the heck of it.
Back in the day, I could spend hours on those things just for the challenge. Now, I don't think I could do it for more than a few minutes.

I used to love those things. I won mine by selling enough items in the school fund raiser. You could make some sick stuff with those. Man, I need one!

Dude!
I have three of those things! I carried all three of them, when I take plane flights. I have a 3x3 keychain, 3x3 regular size, and 5x5 professor. I haven't solved the professor yet. Almost, but not quite. I bought all of mine from Amazon.
I'm buying a 2x2 for my daughter. She's not ready for the 3x3 yet.

I'm going to state the obvious: Did you check Ebay or Amazon?
-
I solve them all the time...I consistantly solve them in under 5 min. but my fastest time is 3min.
...yes, yes...hold the applause... ::) ;D. JK
Its really not that hard once you memorize all of the moves.

Around 2:30-3:00 is actually what anyone should get. It's the standard time a normal person should take, if they know the moves.
Times lower than that apply more complex patterns that require some thought to use. I haven't even gotten to 5 minutes yet though.
