Thats no joke dude.  And its always someone's mom that wins the cymbals or snare....  She's just there because she has the keys and doesn't want to wait in the car!

I love Evans Drumheads. I would like to attend something like that.

Hello ya'll, it appears as though I cannot post a new topic. My guess is because I am new and don't have a certain amount of posts? So, I have a specific question, which is the reason why I joined. How can I ask it without a new topic? Would I just find a similar topic and post it there? Someone please help.

You may use the search feature, or (which is always done, anyway in the drum forum) you may 'hijack' the thread.  Either way, it will get answered.    ;D

Happy drummin' (and welcome),

Do you mean "no body" or just no one from LGM?

Did you get a snare tuned or a free drum head?

Was there anything you learned from going to the clinic?

Nobody from LGM.

No sir i did not get a snare tuned, i was not one of the first ten people to arrive.

The clinic was about 45 to 55 minutes long. There were some things that i learned then there were things that i knew. I did not know that at the starting point of tuning, the resonant side of the tom should be tuned at a lower pitch than the batter side. He (Josh T. dont know how to spell last name) said that most people think that at the starting point of tuning a drum that the reso side should be at a higher pitch. He was basically giving some basic knowledge on tuning. Then he gave steps to tuning. He also talked about the difference between coated heads and clear heads. The rest was just up for questions.

...if Bob Gatzen would've been there, we would've been there.  Other than that, I'm good. ;)

Pretty much.  Bob's DVD is pretty comprehensive, too.
