Praise the Lord!
I will be playing Silent Night at Mrs. Peggy Coleman’s Studio recital. The official date is December 4. At North Oxford Baptist Church. This will be the first recital for Octavia and me.
Octavia (my 6 year old granddaughter) will be playing Jingle Bell and singing Go Tell It On The Mountain. Mrs. Coleman gave me an optional to play while Octavia sings. I am seriously thinking about it. Grandmother and Granddaughter making memories together.
There will be many more students there from Mrs. Peggy Coleman’s Studio.
I am so proud of Little Miss Octavia, she is remarkable. Just a few weeks ago, she told me she wanted to be just like me. You had better believe that touched my heart and it also made me more aware of her watching me and I have to be a good role model.
I can’t say thank you enough for all of the help everyone here have been to me. All of the good advice, encouraging words, all of the helpful information that you post here. I have learned a lot from just reading other members questions cause sometimes you might not know how to ask a question and someone else come alone and ask what you were thinking. There is still a lot that I might not understand right now, but I know it is coming together. Well anyways thanks. I thank God I found this site. Keep on keeping on! Don’t be surprise if you see another thank you post next week.

I am so happy for you Sister CM!! I love this site also, and I know that I wouldn't be where I am musically if it hadn't been for LGM!! God bless you and I pray that everything goes gr8 for both you and Octavia. You GO GURLS!! ;)

I can't say "you're welcome" since I don't contribute a darn musical thing to this community... lol.
But, I just wanted to wish you well at the recital, and tell you how much it warmed my heart to hear of you and your grandbaby doing this together. That is so touching!! What a beautiful thing.

Congratulations & You go girl!!! I know you and your granddaughter will do well.
-
Aww, you don't have to thank me, I was just doing my civic du...
*Rue leans over & whispers in LT's ear that he didn't contribute a darn thing either*

Congrats on the opportunity to showcase what you've learned. It will be a great experience playing with your granddaughter. I once played the piano for one of my children's school recitals. That was a lot of fun. Make sure you get someone to work the camera. You want to keep those memories forever!

I'm sure one of the resident A/V gurus can help with that.

Who?
Now, THAT, I'm not sure of. There are plenty up here, just ask around.

Ok, thanks. :)
I will ask when the time comes.

ddw4, soundofjoy and many others have posted videos...they could most likely answer how.
I've only done audio, but I would think once you create the clip, it's just a matter of uploading the file to whatever site. You probably would want to use .wmv or a compression format that would make the video stream small in size before upload. Just guessing...
Congratulations again to you and your grandaughter on your progress!
