I was looking on GuitarCenter.com and see that they are selling their used Peavey Grind 6 strings for $259.00 (tax included). I have played with these basses before and they are great players, and I might have to hop on this deal. The only drawback i see with this bass is that it is passive, but that can also be a good thing since I wont have to worry about batteries running out.

For that price, I think you should.  You can always swap out the Peavey pickups with some others more desirable, too.

Be sure to check out musiciansfriend.com, also, for BLEM basses.  A little while back I saw them selling blemished grinds for cheap.
