I see you and Dude-on-Drums have the Akira Jimbo snare.. That snare is hot. I think it is similar to my last snare. The Yamaha Steve Jordan. I had to trade it in because that thing kept detuning. I had to keep the key on the lug to tighten during songs ::)
True, but they are designed to 'play themselves' - an extreme amount of force is not needed...

Dag..... I feel like I'm the only one still messin wit' Zildjian now :(
Can somebody admit that the hybrid series is hot???
And it also seems like people are afraid to mix cymbal brands. Either that or everyone up here is endorsed.
There's nothing wrong with having Zildjian and Sabian cymbals, I mean THEY ARE BROTHERS! ;D
I guess that I'll have the dissenting opinion: I wasn't feeling them at all. I like the K Custom Hybrids better. ;D

It should have been named "Jang-a-lang, jang-a-lang"!!!

For real though, all I have left is a PDP CX kit... no hardware, no cymbals, no throne. no heads. just sitting in my dining room blending with the wall paper...
LOL! :D Its usually you...but that was a good one! :)

Well, I see there's always one who wants to start drama when there's peace. For the most part, I don't know u, Juse, nor Cherri. I see why there aren't many Women on here, some of u "gentlemen" (in your case I use that word VERY lightly), keep more drama going then females. (Don't be offended if this doesn't apply to u)
Dude-on-drums...... grow up! What u said and what ur trying to start is completely uncalled for and Definitely UnGodly.

What matters to me is the sound that each cymbal produces. It just happens to be that 99% of my palette is Sabian. 1% belongs to Meinl.
Wowza!!! U got 100 Cymbals???? ;) lol
Aight Kev, the lil prob wit my panties???
Im sorry. That was meant to be a stab at Juse, my brother. Now, I think BBD has some pliers for that little problem with your panties...I personally would just throw them away. :D
Welcome to LGM...again!!! :)

Has anyone played the Sabian Hand Hammered 20" Leopard Ride yet?
I just got it and must say that its just great!
Great Attack, Nice and dry!!!
I would recommend it absolutely if there is someone out there who needs a new ride!

Greetings! I hope your wearing a safety vest. You think C.I. and SVU is something to view (that's TV), LGM (the Reality drummer's forum) is the land of atavism... I don't think Dahmer, Elizabeth Bathory or Gacy would have survived around here.

Good thing that you can't cyber-smack people on here. It would be on and popping.

JuSe... the movers came today... I am moving into my new place, and the drumkit is sitting respectfully in the family room. I got hardware, and new cymbals... and it looks beautiful... As soon as I unpack my camera, I am going to put the pictures up. Thanks for the encouragement though. Now I am going to get back at it.
