So, the king of the world thought that NOTHING could go wrong, huh!?
Well, being the faithful Minister of Music that I am, I got up and went to church yesterday on time. I had put 90% of the food up Saturday night (well, in the wee hours of Sunday morning).
I came home from church to throw the other stuff away only to discover...NO CAKE!
The top layer of my cake (peach....with peaches in it) was gone and the box was in the trash. I paid a GRIP for that cake and only ate that little corner after I blew out the candles. My stepmother helped herself to the entire top square-tier while I was at church and laughed about it when I asked where it was.

As she is eating cake, my daddy sees there's a lot of food wrapped up and calls his two nieces (with whom I rarely even associate...once every two years at most, LITERALLY) and invites them over to take whatever they wanted.
My food and beverages (liquor) that I paid for, decorations that I paid for (some hand made by me), CD's that I had burned specifically for my party...ALL GONE! I have one person who only drinks Dr. Pepper. I had promised her that she could have all the Dr. Pepper left and she was coming back to get it yesterday or today. WELL.....all that was left of those was an empty box in the trash as well!
There was a whole meat tray left over that I was bringing to work today (on my actual birthday) for the party they're giving me here at 2 o'clock. IT WAS GONE!
Not only did my daddy and stepmother divide up my meat try between my two fat, greedy cousins...but they had the nerve to put me up a few slices of ham and a few slices of cheese in some foil in the fridge.
When I asked where my stuff was and how someone could take things that I paid for without even asking me....daddy went ballistic!!!
One church member made Rotel in her beautiful Crock Pot, which he slammed down and broke it. I bought her another one at Wal-Mart last night with some of my birthday money!
WHEN I called and told my cousins to bring everything back, and leave it on the porch if I wasn't there, he got even madder (not that I cared). BUT she did as I requested. I threw that food directly in the trash (it was the principal of the matter more than anything). All the food that they had "rationed out" to me while I was gone to church was given to my mom and my sister BY ME. I no longer wanted any of it at that point....including a whole cake that a co-worker made and brought to me.
At 6am this morning, he got up still screaming, yelling, and cussing....still throwing things at me (I am really good at dodging spoons, knives, and chafing dishes) because "I had the nerve to question him about something that was in his house".
As a result, SEVERAL people have called or texted me asking "what are your plans for your birthday?"
The answer? Moving!

My suggestion was that you should move, and ASAP. The thing is, this is your FATHERS house. You are under his roof, and unfortunately, whatever he says goes, in HIS house. That doesnt make any of it right, but you should bring that to your understanding.
Secondly, you bought liquor? Well, in my opinion, you didn't need it, so its for the best it ended up missing.
I think things have come to a head (before this all even happened... c'mon, orange spaghetti ?/?) and you just need to move on. You still need to respect your father and his bride to be. I am assuming that talking to him is out of the question... So my advice is to be respectful and Christ-like, get your resources together, and find your own spot. :-\

Being that you are a Christian, you have to change the way you describe people and all the anger and negativity in your post. You don't have to call people fat and other bad names. All that is doing is blocking your blessings. In times like this you need to stay in the word. Every free moment you have have you need to be in the word. When anger and resentment build up, bad things can happen that could ruin your life or others. I have been as angry and frustrated as you are and I the only one that can bring you out is Jesus. Please stay in pray.

I think you should write down all your hurt and pain that you have been put thorugh. You could use it as a therapy. It would also serve as the jumpoff for a script ( play, television, or bigscreen), the jumpoff for your book deal ( fiction and memoirs), jumpoff for your motivational speaking engagements, and the jumpoff for your next songwriting session.
Dude keep your head up and keep pushing through. The hurt and pain will serve as stepstools to your next level if you use the gifts that God gave ya, and don't listen to folks when they say it can't happen.
You are being set up for some big things.

He's just keeping it real. Dont act you dont got no fat greedy relatives. Cuz i know some people who will eat your food that they know they didnt buy and they know is yours.

I bought that stuff to make peach daiquiris for people to drink "in moderation"....which they did. Nobody got drunk, passed out, threw up or none of that.
But I spent a good $600 on my party. Regardless of whose house it was in, nobody had the right to privately call people while I was away and divide my stuff between them. There's no right in that at all.
Did I mention that this woman is Vietnamese and is here without a green card?

Yes. I gave the party for myself by myself. Paid for everything myself.
And THEY called other people over and gave what I PAID FOR away without asking me!!!

OK...I'm eating my birthday lunch so I can't get angry (turkey sandwich and potato salad from the honey baked store)! About to shout....can't shout and be mad...that ain't holy!

You aint never lied. I was so glad that I moved from my moms house. I dont know if Herman is paying bills there, but I was paying $500 a month for rent to her, and still hadda do things the way SHE wanted. But hey, it was her house, her rules. I cant wait til she visits me in my new place on Chrstmas...As soon as she leaves Imma be like We are under MY roof... What I say GOES!!! yeah right, some of yall know my mom, mi casa is her casa... I aint foolin nobody... :D
