Has anyone ever bought a live DVD to be disappointed in the sound quality...or it seems as if a low-budget company did the video...that's why there are only two view points...far away...and in the lead singers mouth...etc....
I'm into buying the DVDs of recordings that I like. I recently purchased Israel & New Breed's DVD from South Africa. It has to be one of the best DVDs I've ever seen. Great footage of the singers, musicians and audience/congregation/crowd (or whatever you want to call it).
Some live DVDs show how long the song really lasted and others mirror the CD. I prefer the former.
DVDs I currently own:
Tye Tribbett - Victory
Richard Smallwood - Pursuaded (one of my all-time favorites)
Judy McAllister - Send Judah First (recorded at West A before they moved into the huge one...Great DVD)
- Raise the Praise (at the new West A)
- In His Presence (I didn't care much for this one)
Byron Cage - Live at New Birth Cathedral (ehh...not enough band shots...and almost no crowd shots)
TD Jakes - Woman Thou Art Loosed Worship 2002 (I should have just stuck with the CD)
Martha Munizzi - The Best is Yet to Come (fell asleep on it...but I had just eaten some Bojangles :D)
Walter Hawkins - Love Alive 25th Anniversary (another one that I probably won't watch much)
I have a few more at home...can't remember which though (which means that they probably weren't that good).
I'm considering buying Marvin Sapp's "Thirsty" DVD and maybe another of Israel & New Breed's
Does anyone have either of these?
And for everyone...which DVDs would you recommend to others?

Some of Marvin Sapp's videos from the DVD are on YouTube. I don't like how there is so much space between him and his singers/band. He's got them all in the back and he has a good amount of space to run around and sing. I was not too impressed with that.
I have also pre-ordered Ricky Dillard's 7th Episode. It comes with an extended CD with longer songs and from the videos I've seen, seems to be a good buy. I'll let you know January 15th :)

Donald Lawrence is also good

One of my personal favorites is John P. Kee & New Life "Strength". Some other ones that you might find interesting are....
Fred Hammond - Purpose By Design
Pages of Life: Chapter III
Martha Munizzi - No Limits
Kim Burrell - Live in Memphis (it seems like a low budget video, however I still get a kick out of bruh on keys. That and I love Calvin Rodgers, Sput, Maurice Fitz, Sean).
Tonex - Out the Box ( I know a lot of people don't like him :-[ , but I do. I love this DVD :-\ )
