1. To be 3x better than my current state at the end of the year.  When i say better i mean more: control, (better)timing, speed, fills, creativity, musicality, endurance, smoothness of execution.  If im missing something help a brotha out.

2.  To be an overall better person, to get some things out of my life so i can live saved.

YO LGM FAM!!!!!!!

I know this is suppose to be the Top 2, but I need a little more LOL!!!

1.  Do God's will more and not try to impose my own.  Trying to learn how to submit more and let God do what He wants to do with me.

2. Become better at my craft by transcribing more (by the way, I'm actually doing some Chris Dave transcriptions that might be of interest to you cat and doing some transcribing of Weckl, Vinnie, and Steve Smith).  I think we get caught up with all this technical stuff that we forget to actually sit down and LISTEN to the phrasing and all the details/nuances of these greats. Also, expanding on Displacement beats, which I'm going to work on an audio (maybe video), plus PDF files on how they look, expanding on more polyrhthyms, and most importantly musicality.

3.  Share more knowledge on LGM and really get LGM back to what it was when I first came in here.  I mean there was always bickering, but lately it's gotten a little out of control and I would like to try to get this forum back to what it's purpose is and that's to help others and educate others about music and how to achieve the results that cats want.

4. Try to relax more and get more involved with my church!!

Ok thanks for listening.  I have more, but those are my main goals!!!  I hope all is well and I pray that ALL OF MY LGM Family has a great year.  Good luck.  Take care and God Bless.

1. I'm going to improve myself as a person, husband and Father.
2. I got to  my some improvements on my home $$$$$$$$$ :'( :'( :'(

And to give you some tips on losing a few lbs. this what I did;
I started hitting the gym HARD!!! Sometimes 3X a day. I know that's a little extreme, but I lost a total of 32lbs. doing just that. I was 217lbs. in June when I started, now I'm 185-190lbs. I just basically cut down my calorie intake, I hit the weights, lots of cardio and the sauna for 30mins a day at 200 to 250 degrees.
Spinach salads are good for losing weight too. If you can committ to that regement, it should work for you.

were you overweight? What did you do to prepare mentally? Right goals n' stuff? Good some workout partners?

I wouldn't say overweight, I'm 6'1" so for my height that's not considered in my opinion overweight. But I was big, a little bulky.

I just stayed with it. I focused on seeing results, not losing weight. I don't trip off what the scale says. You can be 250lbs swole and look & feel good.
My goal was to lose 15-20lbs in the month of June. I started around June1st. By July 16th I wanted to see and feel some progress. I lost 25lbs in that time period alone. I'm still workout. It's been 6 months and 5 day since I started. I'm down around 30lbs at this point. Now I can't lose anymore weight,  I'm building muscle.

I have this homeboy I meet at the gym name Ray, we call him "Much Love Many Many", he's alway preachin' and prayin' in the sauna because it be hot up in there. Plus, all my folks is up in there at any givin time, so we just workout in teams, or alone.

You got change your diet and drink water, lots of water with fresh lemon.

oh shoot. my resolutions?? I dont have any. I found out that I need to commit myself to whatever it is that I want to do, every day, not just for the new year.

Couple of goals though, make more money so my Wifey can stay home and we can start a family.
Definitely get in better shape. A desk job and a lot of stress will take you out of shape quick. lol.
Help my parents more, in every detail including financially.

above all, Grow closer to God.
