Title: 3 finger style...demanding ,but i'm loving it!!!!
Post by: phatstrings on January 07, 2008, 06:48:43 AM
I started playing 3 fingers last year after seeing Billy sheehan.Initially it was kinda painful
on my right hand, and sometimes i wonder if was necessary at all.But after surviving the pain
stage,i'm just simply flying!I still need a lot of more practice to get me more comfortable, but some of the
stuff i do now(solos especially) i never would have been able to do with the thumb and middle finger.
Anyone else who play 3 finger? Please feel free to share your experiences and challenges.

 Peace!

Billy Sheehan is more of a shredder but really fast... i also play with the 3 finger (pointer, middle, and ring) when soloing with scales, it's much easier and faster as well.  Eventually i would like to use 4 fingers... might as well use as much as possible instead of limiting my fingers...
