Dear LGM FAMILY,
I will like to share my experience being the minster of music, praise and worship leader, head musician, school choir director at age 16. As you can see, my job is not easy. i love everything that i do with each position, but one thing i learned as the praise and worship leader is you can't forget the glory/anointing.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP LEADERS
Many Praise and Worship leaders tries to get the hottest songs or the one everybody loves but forget that it takes the glory.I have learned that you have to seperate your self from people, or anything that will hinder you from ushering in the holy spirit. LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR, its not all about how many songs can have 4-5 part harmony in it, or how many runs you can do vocal wise or piano' keyboard is concern. But it is about establishig a relationship with God. There has been plenty of times where we sung one worship song and vice versa and thats all it took to bring in the glory. You have to be mindful. SOME PEOPLE WOULD SAY DONT PREACH DURING PRAISE AND WORSHIP, I SAY FIRST LEARN TO EXHORT by telling GOD WHO IS AN HOW WONDERFUL AND MERCIFUL HE IS.
YOUR PRAYER SHOULD BE,
LORD SHOW ME AND DIRECT ME ON HOW TO LEAD YOUR PEOPLE INTO YOUR PRESENCE GOD, LORD I CANT FIX IT, OR CARRY ON SERVICE WITH OUT YOU. GOD, I GOT TO SEE YOUR MANIFESTED GLORY IN THE SANCTUARY. LORD WHEN YOUR GLORY IS REVEAL PEOPLE WILL BE HEALED, DELIVERED AND SET FREE. GOD, I'M NOTHING WITH OUT YOU. LORD DIRECT ME AND SHOW ME YOUR GLORY, IN JESUS NAME AMEN

Amen to that brother. Sometimes people looking at you think it's something you learn to do... Or are replicating from someone else. What they sometimes don't see is the mindset that brings out greatness: total surrender to God, total reliance on him. When we move ourselves out of the way, God can work. As worship leaders, we have a serious job, no to be taken lightly. The mode of service is in our hands at time, make or break, if you will.

MY HEARTS FOES OUT TO ALL THE WORSHIP LEADERS... ITS TIME TO STOP TRYING TO MAKE THIS ABOUT A COMPETITION IN THE SANCTUARY BUT ITS ABOUT LIFTING UP THE NAME OF JESUS!! THIS IS MY PLEA. "lORD I JUST WANT TO TOUCH YOUR HEART. IF YOU DONT DO NOTHING ELSE GOD YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH" I CAN BEGAN TO TELL HOW I JUST WANT AN LONG FOR HIS PRESENCE... :'(

I totally agree with what you have stated...
Thus being very important to have a successful ministry. I think every ministry in church should take this same mind

its just im just trying to touch the heart of God its funny how we ask for cars, money, new husbands, old husbands, new wives, old wives but never try to touch the heart of God
I realize that if we ask christians touch the hearts of God we dont have to worry about that stuff becuase seek ye first the kingdom of god..... you know the rest but the point be made we got to see his glory revel :'(ed

Yeh man dats so tru, i knw wat u meen, i myself i am jst 17 and im the Choir Leader/M.D plus Pastor's Child so i often have to remind myself self that its all about Jesus

thats cool.... but my point is if we gonna live for jesus why not go ahead and just do the dawg on thing..
my problem is when people dont do things i the spirit of excellence, my church knows if heaven and earth past away that me my self is gonna do things in excellence.. I know im wierd and crazy but thats all i know man and divinemusicans i got my eye on you ;) :D

Ok, but there's a perfectly good explanation for that!
Well, i happen to like chittlins, right...and i was cookin some, but i think this time they musta been ever so slightly less clean than usual!
And precisely at the time they were cookin', i just happened to be thinking & concentrating on the "wisdumb" i just gave you. So evidently, the chittlins & the wisdumb shook hands (unbeknownst to me), and formed a "groovy" yet "very, very funky" union! 8)
Didn't it say somewhere in Proverbs: "If thou shalt seek thee thy answer HARD ENOUGH, thou shalt come up with something if thou art lucky"...

Everything you said is the TRUTH and I thank God for it. Please keep allowing God to speak through you. It is a blessing for me to see you as a young man with a heart after God. It's very encouraging. Keep fighting that good fight.
