Title: We've lost one of the family!

I'm here to share the sad news of losing one of our greatest Christian bassists of our time,Mr. Jackie Street! Many of you may not know him but I can guarantee that you've HEARD him! Just do a google search on his name and watch the credits roll!

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him,he was definitely a mentor in studio playing,always playing the right notes,TONE,pure TONE! One of my greatest feelings came when a producer once told me that I reminded them of Mr. Street...little did they know,I studied the guy!! :-) :-)

Please say a prayer for the family and the Nashville bass fraternity cause this is a huge loss to the music world!

I'm sorry to hear of the loss, my prayers are for you and your family that God will comfort you and provide you the strength to stand during this time.

Definitely do that! You'll be sruprised that you may have already heard him and didn't know it!!

Here is a list of some of the songs he's credited with playing bass on....absolutely amazing. How come I never heard of him?
