Title: Vocal Lesson or tools....
Post by: Keys410 on February 18, 2008, 11:02:32 AM
Hopefully this is the correct spot to post this...

Does anybody know of some good tools to help with range? Possibly a DVD or CD with exercises to help? Thanks

I have a cd called, vocal aerobics with Joy Norris.  It is older, but really good.  Unfortunately, I purchased her last copy, but leave me a message if you might be interested in getting a copy.

Sure anything that can help. I use to sing when I was younger but once my voice changed I just stopped singing. So now it's like rebuilding all over again. Sometimes my throat be killing me...

Ah HA! You aren't supposed to be singing from your throat! I can surely help you with range...with various exercises. The trick is practicing everyday. Its like you body...you got to work out every day in order to see changes.

I would really like to record some stuff and post up but don't have a way of doing it right now. My brain is so full of vocal techniques, but it is really to put this stuff into words because singing is more physical than we think!
