I'm, not familiar with the slash chords that you posted with the song. Can you post these please? Also is there any resource where slash chords can be found? I've gone through a few books and I can't find these anywhere...

the note on the right of the slash is the bass note, the other is the chord over the top. so a G/B is a G chord with a B in the bass. So think open G and just play it with the B at the 5th string 2nd fret as your bass note, omitting the G on the 6th string.

Also, if you look up "compound chords" you're likely to find educational info on them.
These days most people refer to them as "slash chords" but they are traditionally (and rightly) called compound chords.
