I have seen and here a lot of folks talk about they are leaving this place or that place. Yes, I have also heard people say ask God for the answer. Honestly, when do you know when it is time to go?

I kinda left my home church about 2 months ago. I started playing at another church. I left because I feel I've been overlooked and ignored as a musician and Because I feel that I will grow a lot more as a gospel musician at a church that sings various styles of gospel music.
I havent given up my membership, and I still go back to do the sound and play for funerals, but I dont know if I'll ever be back there for good. I think for most musicians it is kinda inevitable that they leave thier home church and do thier thing.
About asking god for the answer? I've been praying for a long time that God would give me opprotunities to gain experiance with playing gospel, and I believe that this opportunity (among others) was his answer.

Well I'm just gone say this, If you gone leave then leave already!
We have this lady at our church, she leaves every 3 months seems like. The minute she don't like something, she is gone and never coming back. Well she left right before Christmas and guess what, SHE'S BACK! If you want to leave GOOD BYE, but the thing is, ARE YOU BEING LEAD BY GOD or SELF?!?!
