After viewing your "Praying Spirit" clip for the first time yesterday, I definitely can't wait to view this one. You're very talented and I love this song. That's a fine recipe.

The chords would be very interesting indeed..

It's a coincidence that Ii should come across this thread because this morning I was listening to Sam Tolbert's Summer Concert Video..Oh does he play so beautifully 8)

He starts in the key of Db, modulates to D, then to Eb then to Bb...
He add in so many sweet fill-ins...

He plays & backs himself up so well:

The song is not that difficult (at least for me), it's the fill in that make it really complex..
I really need to add those fills to my playing..It's gon2 take some time :(

I don't usually play with a bass player, so I usually add the bass in my chords...rootless chords are difficult for me to follow sometimes...

This is the traditional, however, I think that Dak was looking for the chords to the version mowill posted and fmason did the vid on...(by the way, listening to the song & video, fmason pretty much nailed it...thanks!!) , it's different on some of the chords used than the traditional version.

...I haven't really sat down to try to learn the version by John Thompson, just really like some of fmason's voicings, so I been more or less ripping some of his voicings...lol :D ;D...I'll see if I can post the chords to what fmason did in the video if he doesn't mind and doesn't have time to get to it...
