Yeah, this is something I feel in my spirit that we need to learn to do for each other. We can have each others back drumming wise but as brothers in Christ we need up hold and have each others back spiritually. Im not even asking for the whole day just the first meal.

Count me in.

I reposnded in the other thread I would be in on this...but I just wanted to share Marvin McQuitty's impact on me.
I used to hate Gospel music. To me it was just boom bap boom bap if you follow me. When I met my wife, she told me it was not just that any more. She let me hear not Guilty with Calvin Rodgers at the time. It was ok, but I stood firm...I don't like it. I was just being difficult really. She really loved Fred hammond, and Purpose for Design just came out. I saw Fred was playing at Wild Adventures in Valdosta GA, and we went. I satthere trying to act like I wasn't feeling it, but the drummer was just everything I tthought a drummer should be, and not like a lot of other "gospel" drummers. I left that concert having a deeper appreciation for gospel music and gospel drummers in general. I wore out the purpose for design album enjoying the live stuff like, "When you Praise" more than the studio stuff, cuz the drummer made me feel it. I would probably never have tried to play Gospel had it not been for the sound I heard from Marvin. He meshed what I like in drumming, and the sound I strive for, and put it with the Gospel. He was the first Gospel drummer I followed.
Praying hard for you bro.
