Unfortunately, I don't have all the info... lol.

I just saw it on the news, and thought it was kinda cool.  People on 6 continents are turning off their electricity for one hour from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to conserve energy and raise awareness about going green.  They're encouraging families to use the hour to spend together playing board games by candlelight or reading a book by battery light or just talking together...

I'll see if I can find a brief article or something...

You suck!  LOL!

But thanks for posting the link.

I forgot to add that in Atlanta, the mayor has urged local businesses to participate, so a lot of the restaurants are featuring candlelight dinners and things like that... it's supposed to be pretty cool.

I used to hit up Wendy's every other day, until I found the Checker's dollar menu.

It's not just about being "green," it's also about conserving energy, which is just a wise choice no matter how you look at it.  We don't have an endless source of energy, it's not something that will just exist until the end of time.  It's about being a responsible steward over the resources God gave us.  But, I know... we're Christians, so we don't "worry" about that.  GOD will provide us with energy if it be His holy will....  ::) :-\

(I'm not preaching at anyone... for the record, I'm not the least bit "green" myself... just tossing out a thought or two).

You know, at first I wasn't going to attempt this. But after giving it some thought, I think I'll abide. I mean, it's only an hour. I can just...you know...read the Word or something. Shabba.  8)
