Well, I'm a bit bored so I figured I'd make a post!
Last Sunday I had EVERY intention of going to my cousins church along with a friend of mine (my uncle can PREACH, BTW). So, as we rode down the street and passed Coopers Temple COGIC, I said "ooohhh". And looked over at my friend and asked if she would'nt mind us going there instead, she said it didn't matter. Now mind you this was my first time EVER attending COGIC on a Sunday. Anyways, the Praise and Worship was GREAT and I looove their musicians! They shouted most of the service, after a while I got tired of it and just sat down lol. As I was sitting, I was thinking I should have went to my cousins church like I intended to. Because I had felt that there was a reason why I was sent there instead of my cousins church, and I was REALLY in need of a "GOOD" Word, or some encouragement.
After what seemed like an hour of shouting :D, I remember the Pastor saying that for the past few Sundays the anointing just took over the service, and he hasn't been able to preach, I can't remember word for word, but he said sometimes that kind of atmosphere is set for the Word (or something like that lol). Long story short, he ended up preaching a very profound word! He blessed my 'lil soul, I was touched, and encouraged (had tears in my eyes lol).
Anywho, I had a very good time last Sunday with Coopers Temple! ;D

I definitely have to get down to Miami to visit Cooper Temple. I do know that they arguably have the best church band in the nation!

Yes they are! And the Pastor got up and started playing the keys I was like :o. I didn't know he could play! LOL

Oh yes. Marc Cooper can RIP an organ. He is the musical director for the Miami Mass Choir, and their stuff is tight! And I have seen Cooper Temple's YouTube clips, and the "Jump and Wave clip is my favorite.

Yeah I never knew he could play till last Sunday! LOL And my vocal coach wrote a song for the Miami Mass Choir called "Get Excited". I stay like not too far from Marc Cooper..... down the street somewhere I believe lol. But yeah, you should come out to the MIA, and check 'em out! They be havin some shol nuff church ova' there!

So today I finally ended up going to my cousins church, because last Sunday I didn't go at all. Anyways, it was sooo hot in there OMG, and it was already HOTT outside lol. But thats besides the point.
My uncle is the preacher there. After praise and worship, he started "preaching" about uh... I forgot. :-\ But I DO remember him saying, "I know some of ya'll are lookin' at me crazy cause I haven't opened the bible yet". Well, I know I was looking at him crazy, because I didn't care to hear him fuss "preach" at people. So, eventually he did begin to preach from the bible. At first I wasn't really following, because It was just so hot in there, and then I was playing with my baby cousin. lol When I got tired of her I gave her back to her mom, and focused on the preacher. And I was so......I don't know whats the word I'm looking for?!! LOL .......... But he expounded even the more of what Marc preached about when I went to Cooper's Temple. And I was yet again enlightened and encouraged! VERY encouraged!
