My 15 yr old daughter is learning drums and fills in at church when the usual drummer is away doing prison/nursing home ministry. She has natural ability and has grown since she has been getting help from the music teacher at school.
We are getting her a set of her own for home for Christmas. I need to know where to find an adequate set at minimal cost.

samash.com or musiciansfriend.com. they have the best prices and they match competitors prices. peavey, pacific, peace, ludwig are some good choices.

Both of those sites were good thanks!!!
Has anyone used or owned an "Enforcer" set?
My local music store has one of these on special for like $399, I think I can get the floor model for like $350
It features REMO heads and heavy duty hardware
It's a 5 piece set... 2 mounted toms.. a 16" floor tom, 22"x16" Bass, 5.5" x 14" metal snare, 16" crash and stand, 14" HH

Groove Percussion also has very cheap sets. $200-$250 is probably the most u'll spend on a 5piece set. u'll need 2 change the heads though.

I had seen those.. but how much would heads be?
would I still end up around $350... cause I trust REMO

Yeah, you probably going to spend about $100 getting heads all around the set. Check out the prepacks it's much cheaper than getting all the heads individually. Another site to check out is www.interstatemusic.com
They have a good selection i consistently find them lower than most retail stores. The only drawback is shipping.
