I didn't have cable until my sis came to visit and decreed that we must have it.  She paid for it so I guess it's cool.  My nephew's tv doesn't have parental controls, so I have to monitor what he's watching.

THought about it but I still love CNBC especially now. I dont know who's running things over there but shows like the Big Idea, High Net Worth, Millionaire Nest Door,e tc are excellent personal development shows. They give you ideas for working on self, and increasing your belief muscles esp in the area of starting businesses.

But then again, cable is only like 35 bucks for me. For right now, it stays.

I'm paying double what you pay.  I have all the channels but I could just about get by with basic cable.  I wouldn't mind getting the HD service but I pay these clowns enough money as it is.

Yeah  when you buy a HDTV you're paying for it's ability to show stuff in HD.   Too bad that doesn't work with other things like I could have my employer double my salary because I have the ability to do double the work.  Oh well I digress.  ;D

I've actually thought about doing it one weekend a month. No tvs, computers, stereo, wii games,  nothing just family time. We would talk and play games anything without electronics. But I know my husband would never go for it  ::).

But it is a thought.

I wouldn't dream of it, that is not until I acquire all the shows & movies I like to watch on DVDs.
