his Artisan ride sounded way better than the K/s he playing, looks like Zildjians price increase is paying off, they can pay more drummers to play on their pies  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

eeeehhhhhhhhhh  I don't think so man....  sorry on this one.   The artisan ride was WAY to washy for him.  Just look at the MD 06 stuff.  It wasn't clear or defined (cymbals).  He definelty made the right choice on this one!!! LOL!!! ;D ;D ;D I like Sabian, but eeeeehh, I'd take Zildjian especially with the ride cymbals HANDS DOWN.   ;)

By the way. Ronald is just killing.  Not only is he fast, but dude can just flat out play.  This cat is really aggressive which is dope, but notice the cat can play BOTH traditional and match.  I'll probably get some flack on this, but IMHO everyone should be able to play both somewhat. So before cats start getting riled up, I know each one has its advantages and disadvantages.  So just look on the search engine and type in Traditional Vs. Match and you'll see a bunch of threads on that.  However, RONALD is a beast.  The playing speaks for itself.

Cosign, although your credit is great.  Notice I took the somewhat part out, because it goes against my signature.  *lol*

He's phenomenal.  Listening to him always convicts me that I haven't mastered all my rudiments.

Yeah I made a mistake, I should have put, you SHOULD KNOW both equally and masterfully....that's what I meant to say, but since I was avoiding drama, I'm gonna say it now, you should know both hands down.  No excuses!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!! 8) 8) 8)

Ay, it aint drama if it's the truth, ya dig?

The same stuff has been said time and time again on this thang here and for the most part, it'll take an Act of Congress for cats to get (pseudo) motivated, only to be wowed at one of the rudimentary grips and being able to use it proficiently.  This (same) level of proficiency could also be achieved if one really works on it and not at it.

I also liked how he utilized the trashy sound, it wasnt just the regular cymbal sound, he had that trashy metal sound and it fit nicely...ZILDJIAN ALL DAY BABY!!!

He just dressed to look like Billy Cobham or Lenny White from that time era that's all. To each man his own. He's still amazing nonetheless.
