O Give Thanks Unto the Lord for His Mercy Endures Forever! Greetings my bassist family and other Christian musicians. God has smile on us and allowed us to see another week pass by. We should give Him praises to the highest. For my weekend gospel shedders I pray that your minds and hearts will be in tune with the Spirit of the Lord and that you will bless others with you playing and that it will please the Lord to the utmost. When the Bible talks about the string instruments I can't help but imagine that when David was doing his dance there was a bass player somewhere laying down some nice bass lines  :)

This is also the last sunday of the month which means that this month is just about over and the summer is moving by quickly. Whatever you do keep a positive attitude, encourage others, give back and share as you learn from others. I am off from my regular church this sunday but will be playing with the community choir tomorrow.

We did not rehearse so it will be familiar songs (that I hope I can recall on the fly) for us.  I will do as I always do before I play:  wash my hands and pray.
