NOTE: I am NOT referring to the James Cleveland version.
There is a male leader to the song. The ending vamp is repeated for the last 3 minutes of the song....and modulates about 3 or 4 times. Same words, except there's no Leader verse to it.
* - Indicates unison
The winds and the waves shall obey thy will
*Peace, be still
Peace, be still
Peace, be still
Be still
Whether the wrath of the storm-tossed sea
Or demons, or men, or whatever it be
No water can swallow the ship where lies
The Master of ocean and earth and sky
They all shall sweetly obey thy will
Vamp:
Peace
Peace
Peace, Peace, Be Sill
Whenever the Lord says peace
There'll be peace
Peace, Ooh, Ooh Peace

You are talking about Vanessa Bell Armstrong's version of "Peace Be Still";

Nope. It's a man leading the song, not a woman.
If someone can give me a couple names of who records it, i can kinda search.
