Absolutely! Melvin is a monster bassist! I just saw him with Eric Marienthal at the Norfolk Jazz Fest and he played one heck of a solo. He thumped so hard the whole place was shakin'!

I'd just like to see Marcus Miller (the originator of that bassline) play with Lee on that song!! Killer bassline!

the way i did it was you can go to www.savetube.com (http://www.savetube.com) and enter the link of the video and it'll save it as a flash movie. then you can download a program to convert .flv to .mp4 file and then convert the file. a bit convoluted. maybe someone knows of a better way

Yeah thats the easiest way. A site like that and use 3G converter, you can use it to convert youtube clips to ipod format or divx so you can play it on your dvd player it the best.

Or if you have a smartphone phone, ie. blackberry, palm, ppc, use your internet browser and go to m.youtube.com and play from there. That's what I do. ;D

I thought about going the m.youtube route, but since my Blackberry expenses are picked up by my company, I don't want to push it.

This may sound corny.....But my favorite part of this video is when Melvin starts to play and the crowd yells, "Ahh Yeah". I love that ;D

I thought about going the m.youtube route, but since my Blackberry expenses are picked up by my company, I don't want to push it.
Check with the provider. BB service should be unlimited and not monitored.

That Fender looks like a banjo in his hands. I would think someone of his size would be playing a 6, or 7 string. It looks like he can wrap one hand around the neck twice. It is funny because when he stands up on the 3 video he just towers over Lee.... :D

Lee's not a big guy to begin with. Melvin does indeed play a monster looking 7 string. He toured with Chaka Khan for a minute and pretty much played it exclusively.

Now that looks more like it! LOL!! He definately is versatile. Looks like he loves the Fender & Ken Smith basses. He plays a six string KS on the dvd I have which is from the first video along with his fender.
