Title: Chord Substitutes

hey guys.this post requires you guys sharing yur tricks.....

what notes do u replace yur 1 through 7 chords with as substitues in instead of holdin the regula minor or major 7

example 1chord = 1 3 5         then yur replacement = ect ect ect

1-3 / 6-9-5 (C-E / A-D-G)
1-3-6 / 9-5-7 (C-E-A / D-G-B)

Minor
1-5-b7 / b9-#11-b7 (C-G-Bb / Db-F#-Bb)
1-b5-b7 / b3-b13-1 (C-Gb-Bb / Eb-Ab-C)

Major
Bass player plays root: 1(C)

3-5-7-9/5-9-5 (E-G-B-D/G-D-G)
3-5-7-9/6-9-5 (E-G-B-D/A-D-G)
5-7-9-3/6-7-9-5 (G-B-D-E/A-B-D-G)

Minor
Bass player plays root: 1(C)

b3-5-b7-9/5-9-5 (Eb-G-Bb-D/G-D-G)
b7-9-b3-G/b3-11-b7 (Bb-D-Eb-G/Eb-F-Bb)

Very nice B3.  Functionally III or VI can substitute for I (135); II and IV substitute for each other; V and VII substitute for each other as well. There are others but those are basic substitutes.
