Hooooorayyyy this is my most favoritest key!!!
I've already posted these several times but here they are for those who haven't seen them...Talk music in Eb
LH/RH
C Eb G/Bb D F
B Eb G/A D Gb
Bb F Ab/C Db F Ab
A Eb G/B Db Eb G
Ab Eb G/Bb Eb G
D A E/F G C E G
G F/B Eb G Bb
C G Bb/D Eb F Bb D
F Eb/A D G B
Bb F/Db Eb Ab C
Eb Db/G C F
/Eb, F
Ab Eb G/Bb Eb G
G F/B Eb G Bb
C G C/Eb Bb D F
C E/Bb Eb Ab C
F Eb/G Ab Bb Eb
G Eb/F Bb Eb
B/Eb A Db F
Bb G/Ab C Eb F
Transposing the above progression to another key
*Sometimes the notes in a chord are not in the major scale. When this happens I use the chromatic scale to transpose any progression from one key to another.
*Take the progression above for instance,
B Eb G/A D Gb
* B,A, and Gb are not in the major scale of Eb
* I use the Eb chromatic scale which is:
Eb (1)
E (2)
F (3)
Gb (4)
G (5)
Ab (6)
A (7)
Bb (8 )
B (9)
C (10)
Db (11)
D (12)
*So we now take that chord above B Eb G/A D Gb and convert it to numbers using the chromatic scale
B(9) Eb(1) G(5)/A(7) D(12) Gb(4)
*I want to convert that to the Key of D so I take the D chromatic scale and put it into numbers
D (1)
Eb (2)
E (3)
F (4)
Gb (5)
G (6)
Ab (7)
A (8 )
Bb (9)
B (10)
C (11)
Db (12)
*9-1-5/7-12-4 in the Key of D would be
Bb D Gb/Ab Db F
*So now all you have to do is convert the entire progression into numbers and transpose it to any key you want..FENIX (Eb HATER)..LOL ;D
Key of: Eb (This is a vamp)
Bb F/Bb Eb F Bb
Ab Eb/C D F Bb
Bb, Bb, Eb, Bb
G D/Db F Bb
C E Bb/Db Gb Bb
*TURN*
F C/B Eb F Ab
G/Bb Db E G
Ab/B Eb F Ab
F/Ab B Eb F

Thanks Chevonee,I like the conversion breakdown real simple.
Now Fenix has no excuse for learning to play in Eb. :D

Play these right behind each other as if you're counting 1,2,3
Gb/E Bb Db
G/Eb A Db
Bb/D Ab Db
E/Ab C Db F
E/slide Ab to get G C Db F
I really hope yall like these :-\

Some tips for playing in this key:
1. 4th finger usage - Anytime u have a chord that ends with a black note, you will mainly want to use your 4th finger to play that black note. The exceptions are the stretchy chords, in which u should use your pinky.
2. Chords - There is almost an even distribution of white and black notes in this key (4 white, 3 black). So, 95% of the time, every chord u play in this key will contain a combination of black and white notes. If u are playing all black or white notes for a chord, chances are u playing something wrong.

A neat trick that you can use in this key is the glissando. This is when u slide your hand across the keys. I use this while playing shouting music and preaching chords a lot. Slide your hand across the BLACK KEYS really fast from the top to the bottom, then land on any chord with some force. Example:
/ Bb, Ab, Gb, Eb, Db, etc. *slide hand across keys, starting high
Eb-Eb / Db-G-C-Eb *press with force and hold
This is one of them show-off moves that if used correctly, you will get a few stares and shouts from the congregation. You can also use this move if ur on a chord that is composed of mostly black notes. 2 chords in particular are:
F#/Gb major chord
D#/Eb minor chord
