...does MSNBC really need to replay the minute-for-minute news coverage from that day to the exact time today? I think that serves the wrong purpose, and focuses too much on the choas, fear, terror, and frustrations from trying to get accurate information as to what was going on.
Just show the memorials going on and leave it at that, will ya?

I feel ya. I also think that it is kind of a slap in the face to those who lost loved ones that day to show the footage from that day.

You can seriously Google another country's emergency help line number? Who would think to use a emergency help line number for a date?

I highly doubt it's a difficult process to find out a Country's emergency help line. Ours especially.
Especially when There are TV shows like "Rescue 911"

i happen to fly yesterday, it seemed to me the airport wasn't as crowded. to the original point, i think it is important that we see these things. we as a nation are so self absorbed that we soon forget the not do distant pass.

My point to my last post was that when the headlines read of things that are temporal, trivial and just unimportant, the massses minds wander off of, if not forget, what is truly important and meaningful.

Some of it is human nature like you said in your previous post. God has to allow certain things to happen lest we forget WHO'S REALLY IN CHARGE!! Notice that every single time a big time tragedy like this happens, the first thing folks wanna sing is...."Aaaamazing grace how sweet duh sound" :'( :'( Folks finally realize that God exists when tragedies happen. It's a dawg gone shame but its the truth.

This is exactly my point. It was that same complacency that allowed them to do everything they needed to do to perform 9/11. Thats my issue. Thats why Im wondering (and still havent got any answers) to why ppl would think its an inside job or conspiracy when we practically gave it to them. They didnt do it from overseas. It was all on US SOIL. The planning, training, and execution.

agreed. it is to easy and convient (sp) to say conspiracy. the real truth (IMO) is to look at ourselves as a people (nation) and see the sin of hubris among others that led, and will lead to more downfalls.

Hey, there are some good questions that should be answered. Like the guy who owned the buildings said on PBS regarding the 3rd building that fell:
"I remember getting a call from the fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building collapse." –Larry Silverstein
I seen the guy say this on PBS. It's statements like this that's raising all the issues. People all over the world who work in the profession of demolition were jolted from that comment. Their response was that it takes days, maybe a week, perhaps, to PREPARE a 47-story building for demolition, not hours.
If this guy, Silverstein, is saying that this building was brought down, the people who do this for a living are saying that that would mean the 3rd building was already prepared waaay before that day arrived. So, why attack people who ask questions? Yes there's complacency.
Now, if you don't want to question that, cool. But why get emotionally distraught and upset when others do throw some questions out there?
If people are getting 'stomped and tazed' just for asking questions, that strong physical reaction alone should draw concern and attention to everyone, regardless of what the question was. But instead, the typical response is, "Good for you. You need to stop asking questions..."
Okay. I'm done. I'm not responding to any more conspiracy comments. You guys can take the floor back and say whatever you wanna (and gonna) about me.

I just dont buy into when ppl start saying conspiracy off the bat with absolutely nothing behind it, which has happened. Youre the only one that has attempted to bring something to the table. Emotionally distraught? :D :D I think you might want to read your own post lol. Im just asking questions. Im an open person to anything and respect others opinions or inquiries, but if you read back, Im doin most of the inquiring so where you get this attitude of ppl getting fired at for asking, I dont know. It can take days to prepare a building for demolition when it's not already sitting in a demolition zone, i.e.; next to 2 110 story buildings that just fell to the earth and everything surrounding them is damaged or destroyed.
It takes days to properly prepare most demos because they do not care to damage life and property surrounding the to-be-demo'd building.
In the case of the World Trade Center, 1 WTC, 2 WTC and 7 WTC were all destroyed due to the the planes being flown into them. 3 WTC was crushed by ! and 2 falling on it. The remaining 3 buildings were later demolished, damaged beyond repair. Other building located near the WTC were also destroyed.

There's no reason to take days to plan a demo of a building in which, again, everything surrounding is already demo'd.
All this conspiracy talk is just insanity, imho, and if you want to believe it then I'd expect you to also believe in the many other conspiracies that have been fabricated and unsubstantiated over many centuries.
There's as much proof for a 9/11 conspiracy as there is for the existence of UFOs and the thought that Jesus had a child, etc...

I don't believe katrina and Ike are one in the same. Maybe the people that stayed didn't have the financial means. Secondly conspiracies are born out of unanswered questions. The government has "classified" many of the documents that may lead to more questions being answered. Of course that's nothing new considering that the assassinations of King and Kennedy are classified for at least another 25 years. Go figure. The freedom of information act didn't retro to those docuements. You think the government has anything to hide?

This nation was founded under false pretenses rooted in deception, violence and religious tyranny. Strong medicine but its the truth. Lastly Paul reminded us that GOD isn't mocked so the attacks on our soil were inevitable. I will admit I'm not overly patriotic. I appreciate the fact that I'm a citizen of America but for my sanity I've learned to put America's history in proper perspective.

Because there is NO clear video of it. All there is is video taken from a security camera that takes low-resolution time-lapse video.
You ever seen the Pentagon in person? It's HUGE. The damage that occurred to it's side and the fire that burned for quite some time following the crash are the result of a commercial airliner and not a missile or whatever else kind of weapon that the conspirators like to believe (with 0 evidence) that it was.

See, I agree with you, gtrdave. Unless someone knew to have a camera trained on the pentagon at that precise moment, how would we have clear video coverage of it? The only reason we clearly saw the second plane hit the towers is because all of the cameras were there due to the first one.

And we have video of the first plane hitting the towers because there was a foreign photojournalism team traveling around NYC w/ one of the local fire departments. In that video they are filming the firemen at-work and then everyone looks up in amazement that there is an airliner flying too low and so fast...
Do you know when there is a conspiracy? When people want to believe that there is a conspiracy regardless of the evidence that proves otherwise. The Da Vinci Code was not popular because it's true (and it's not) but because people want it to be true.

You just flew two planes into the buildings! There would be no need to bring them down. As a matter of fact it would be more psychologically damaging if they didn't fall and they were left there damaged and visible almost anywhere in the city.
