Anyone remember this song?
Heard a Men's group sing this last night - tried to find it on iTunes and YouTube, but the performances were slower than at the church, and didn't use all the words - looked it up and found these lyrics -
My Help
Beverly Crawford
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP COMES FROM THE LORD
UMMMM, ALL MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
EVERYTHING I NEED
ALL OF MY HELP COMES FROM THE LORD
ALL OF MY NEEDS
ALL OF MY NEEDS
HE HAS MET
HE HAS MET
I KNOW HE'LL NEVER
AND HE'S NEVER FAILED ME YET
OHHHH, ALL OF MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
ALL MY HELP
ALL OF MY HELP
EVERY, EVERYTHING I NEED
ALL MY HELP COMES FROM THE LORD

No, I don't remember this song. I checked imeem.com. I enjoyed the Harvey Watkins version. Since the Harvey Watkins version was also on iTunes, I assume the Harvey Watkins version is not the version you heard. Did you listen to the entire version on iTunes or did you ony listen to the 30 second snippet? You can listen to the entire version on imeem.com.

Thanks...will try looking up Harvey Watkins on imeem.com...

Rev. Clay Evans also did a version of it on his "I'm Going Through" CD (track #5). Our choir used to sing it some years back. This is the only version I've ever heard.

Wow...thanks for your generosity.
Have found a version in the African American Heritage Hymnal...no.370. It's in G, also in 6/8, like the others cited above, and has the words I heard in the song on Sun. night - but their tune and feel was different, the Men's group sang it in Eb, and it was a 2/4 midtempo old-school Gospel 'bounce' - even though it turned into a faster shout at the end...
