This is one of the first shouts that I could actually learn from because the Kick sound did not get lost in the mix. Most times the drummers do not physically "mix" themselves and they allow the snare to drive the song sonically which throws it out of time for me the listener. This guy kept a strong foot throughout.

I liked the space they left in the song. That was well needed. He did a great job playing the song. The only thing stuck out to me close to the end was that he was missing the first part of the hits. Gotta stay together with the band. Other than that "pet peeve" of mine, he was slick! Hats off to the guitar player!
