Hey--and welcome.

Give us an idea of the stuff you do know, and we'll go from there.

i.e.--"I know open chords"  "I know my barre chords" or whatever.

God Bless.

:D I know how to play some of the scales on the guitar, I would really like to know how to incorporate some simply chord movements to get my hands moving hand comfortable with playing and to be able to put them to use on songs.......

If you are looking for little fills and stuff in between changes, or just little "walks" to the next chord, Uriah's site has a bunch of cool stuff on it.

I'm assuming you know the relationship of chords in certain keys--like in the key of C: C is your root (or 1), F is your 4, G is your 5, and Am is your 6 (or relative minor).

If you do not know that, hit me up on my e-mail, and I have a chart I can send you.

If you are just wanting to get some song-specific progressions down, do a google for transcripts of the artists your into.

I hope that helped--if I'm off base, let me know so I can get you the info you are looking for.

I would start out with a basic movable blues scale, because it's my favorite! It's also flexiable and easy to play, can play it any key.
