Hey can some one please help me find a nice sound for worship and priase music on the triton im still stuck on the same Acoustic piano sound and Ballad sound

Okay I have a Korg X-50 but it has quite a bit of the same sounds as a Korg Triton so I'll try to help.
For worship music, I usually tend to use the StereophonicKeys combination which is a nice piano/string layer. I've also used the DreamOrchestra, Movie Strings and DynoOrchestra sounds. They sound pretty nice.
As for faster paced praise songs, I usually keep it simple and use a bass/piano split sound or I use the PiezoMixGuitar program octaved down. Hope that helps

Hey keyznhornz24, I have a gray triton music worksampler 61 keyboard and a 61 tan/beige triton studio keyboard. The sounds that you have listed seem as if they would sound good when played on the triton. :) What category would I go to be able to play the sounds that you listed in your reply? Do I go into the combi or prog bank? Thanks in advance for your help.

I used to have one, but I traded it in and forgot the names of the patches... But anyways... Try layering an Acoustic Piano with an EP and strings... Or for a more dramatic sound try layering bells... In my opinion, the Triton Le Piano is too weak and too lame to be played alone...
Besides, it's 2009... be creative!!! You might wanna try just strings for the intro to the song, then switch it up to a piano/strings hybrid... or try a strings/bells hybrid, or maybe even pads... you never know... Try to develop a sound of your own!

I don't do Korg since i am a die-hard Yamaha guy, but i suggest you try using a synth string patch rather than a pure strings patch (if that makes any sense). I just don't like the sound of strings. Its way too harsh for me so i prefer to use a synth sound or use a pad.

The DynoOrchestra and DreamOrchestra combi's are found in the Orchestra category. The StereophonicKeys combi is in the Keyboard category. You can find the MovieStrings combi in Strings.
