As MOM or conductor at your church how many songs are you able to teach your chior each month?
and how long does it take for you to teach them? do you teach the songs in section for each part or just teach the entire song for the altos then the tenors then the soprannos.
lastly how large (or small) is the current working list of songs you pull from for sunday service?

I'd like to learn at least 1 new song a month.

That depends on the difficulty of the songs. Most of the time we can get a song down after 2 rehearsals.

I teach the entire song in parts at one time. I'd like to be able to teach parts to each group separately but thats not ideal for us right now.

The choir has about 8 song right now, but the choir is only 6 months old.
The praise team has many more but some songs we sing are only for a season.
Any particular reason you're asking?

We do 7 songs in a service. out of the seven, one changes every week. I can get through about 5 songs in a rehearsal, but they will not all be new.
We learn about 2 or 3 new songs a month. But it really depends on whether or not I can get time to chart out ( or buy the sheet) of the new songs in question. But I usually can get about 2 or 3 new songs a month. Typically with a new song, I'll make sure to have the rest of service set up with songs that the choir knows. That way, I will be able to typically devote half of practice to the new song. Practice is about 2 hours long. Usually I'll make a cd of the songs of the month and pass them out to the choir. I'll make sure that I'll pull from that CD all month. About half of the choir members actually listen to the CD. So thats enough so that when I bring the new song in. Most of them know it, and the rest will catch it as practice goes along. We also type up lyrics for all the selections ( for practice only).
The current list of songs is huge. I have about 4 3-ring binders full of nothing but sheet music. I also have about 9 or 10 songbooks of various artists. I'd say that there are probably over 200 songs, and the list will grow yearly by about 20 or 30 songs.

Our praise team probably learns about 3 new songs each month.
Our choir probably learns 1 new song every other month. But they have so many songs, that we rarely ever repeat a choir song within a 6 month period.
