Wassup LGM. I just recently got the chance to go into the studio and record drums for an arrangement i made of the Happy Birthday song. Its basically along the same vibe as the Barney Remix i did.
All the instruments were played by me except the Solo Guitar which was played by an associate of mine here at the school. The arrangement is all me as well and its actually something i came up with back in October i just didnt finish it until now when i finally got to record the drums.
Let me know what you guys think about the Mix, Arrangement, Playing all that stuff and dont be trying to be nice either lol.
Take Care and God Bless

Yo this is hott man! Everything sounds real good! Thanks!
-
Sounding good.
I think the percussion could be lowered a bit so the drums can stand out a little more.
-
I'm diggin' it!
-
Thanks you all I'm still toying with the mix and the percussion is one of the things I been fighting with
Thanks again ya'll

Very nice bro!

I likes that.!!! what keyboard and strings are you using??
-
Those sounds are out of reason. The E Keys is actually a combination of stuff that I made. Also there are some vocal pads in there to. The strings are called "Griffin's Secret Strings
If you want a full list I can post it later on when I get home

i do wish the drums was up a tad bit... but other than that....i love it...this what u listen to when u and ur girl are cruisng with the top down over a bridge discussing the future with each other...the guitar was sick too..

Man, that was really tight. When I seen birthday song I didn't know what to expect. That really blew me away dude. Because the song is so heavily padded, I would have liked if the bass had contributed more to the rhythm section...maybe just a little bit more but not too busy. Other than that I really liked the arrangement. I always liked mixes that makes it hard for you to pick out the individual instruments. I really likes.

This is an extremely nice arrangement!!! Keeps them coming.
I did have one question. How was the guitarist recorded?
-
Sugarbear: I was actually thinking about adding a bass player for that fact I just didn't feel like teaching them the chords lol I have little patience for studio musicians
There are two different guitars you hear. The ones in the beginning were played via midi in garage band. The other one was a friend (the one that is soloing) was recorded straight out of his practice amp
