What is VanBasco, is it free, should I get it if cost big bucks?

It's a FREE midi player that plays midi files and u can see the chords/notes on there as well...You can also change the key and slow the tempo down to get all the notes on there as well...if u have several tracks and just want the piano track...u can mute the other tracks and hear just the piano....very handy for beginners!! :D

ok this may be a stupid question, can it play any song that is in the midi format?

no questions are stupid,

Vanbasco is great for beginners, i know this is a gospel site, but the program is great for listening to midi files like michael jackson and james brown, you know artists that have alot of instruments playing at one time in the song, Its good because you can zero in the instrument you want to hear and the program will show you notes that are being played, also if you have a korg series keyboard, or any keyboard that has a floppy drive on it. and you compose a song and save as a standard midi file it will play through vanbasco,
