I don't believe he was practicing (definitely don't quote me on this one).

The Jacksons, as a family, are Jehova's Witnesses.  But I think that perhaps Jermaine may have converted to Islam.  In a statement following Michael's death, Jermain had said something to the effect that he commends Michael's spirit to Allah.

I think his mom was but his father and brothers were not really into it. because a few years ago he threw his mom a birthday party against her will because Jehovah's witnesses don't celebrate birthdays.

Jermaine has converted to Islam, they showed his converted name next to his birth name a few days ago while he was on tv speaking. Michael was associated with the Nation lately to my understanding. As I mentioned I pray that the did accept Christ and the article is true. That has been my main concern throughout this whole ordeal. I am not speaking negative about any other religion or faith, this is just my belief as a Christian.

I meant to add that this is just your usual story where the truth stretches the more it spreads.  I'm sure it was embellished as it got out to helps the feel good aspect of loving MJ.  Mary Mary did post it on their official blog, but it came to them as second hand info so you know how that goes.
