Title: Jazz/bebop fingerings

Friend of mine has some old charts.In looking them over,some fast(16 32 note) runs with BIG reaches between some of the notes.Notice a lot of these lines are linear in motion,up/down and around.Any ideas on how to master/finger to incorporate them  into gospel music? thanks be blessed
