Here are some alternate progressions. I swiped this from Brian Snypes, who is from Brooklyn, then added the other two versions to it. I have a video of him playing it on organ. I'll upload it on Youtube later.
Key Eb.
Version 1:
How great
Eb6/9 (3x)
is our God
Eb6/9 (2x)
Fm / D.......Sing with
G7#5#9.......me
how great
Cm9 (3x)
is our God
Cm9 (2x)
Ebm9.......All will (2-5-1 based off of Db)
Ab13.......see how great
DbM9 (3x)
how great
D7#9 (3x)
is our
Eb........God
Bb \ D
Ab \ C
Bb
Fm \ Ab
Bb \ G
Eb \ F
Bb
(REPEAT)
Version 2: (2-5-1 based off Gb)
Substitute the bold part for:
Abmin9
Db9
GbM9
how great
Bb6/9 (3x)
Version 3: (5-1-4 based off Gb)
Substitute the bold part for:
Dbmin9
Gb9
CbM9
how great
Bb6/9 (3x)
Another good one is a vi9-ii7-VM9 in Gb. The ii7 might twist your ears a bit, but you can hear it resolve when you do the VM9.

I've got a ?/? , I'm still having a little trouble with chord construction. I tried these at home..I don't know, it didn't sound right, maybe I'm playing the chords incorrectly. Check this to see if I'm offbase or basically deaf. For example: the Eb6/9 chord would be basically this: Eb G Bb C F, OK I know that I am playing a Eb in the bass and play it like this: Eb/GBbCF or add the fifth to my bass and play like this EbBb\GCF. Am I right or just completely off.

Ur correct. You can play the chord anyway that you want as long as you have the correct notes. No one voicing is the "correct" voicing, they all work. Just pick what voicing you want based on what sound you want.
