My guess is that it's probably fairly well known and it's traditional sounding. So any background info would be welcome too.

That last line (after 'Praise Him') should be:
He's worthy to be praised.
Other than that, you'd have to post the youtube video so that we'd know what you're talking about.

those are the only 2 verses I know, and I'm 85 % sure that those are the correct words.

as far as hymnal, well, i'm just a white guy taking in some gospel music/ culture/ chords to add to my own playing, and enjoying stuff. i do have hymnals, but never seen this song.

Does anyone have the chords to this? I have been playing it in F and I wanted to know if what I am playing is correct. I am trying to work out all of the chords. Could someone tell me how they play it?
