Title: I was wondering if you can
Post by: Lilfingers on August 04, 2009, 01:43:16 PM
This is a question for techies:

1.)I was wondering if you can make a CD from a "You Tube" recording?  If you can please tell me how?

2.)How can you upload a song---a CD recording---on LGM or You Tube?  I want to do this so that other can hear the song and help me with it.

If this can be done, please give me simple steps,

Thanks!!!

Maybe you need to convert a recording from youtube to
a proCD so you can burn it on CD. That's all what I think.
Just look for a software that can convert any music format.

I'll start with question 1
Yes, you can record a song from youtube or any sound that is produced on your pc.  You need to have a sound card that allows you to capture audio.  Not all sound cards allow you to capture audio. To determine if you have such a sound card,
1. Start up your CD/DVD burner software.  I have ROXIO.
2. Click Audio
3. Under Audio, click Easy Audio Capture/Capture Audio From Sound Card
4. Follow the tabs in the Easy Capture Dialog
5.If you click on Input and it is blank then it's possible that your sound card does not allow capture, then you can download shareware Freecorder
6. Freecorder will allow you to capture any Internet streaming audio as an MP3 here's link to freecorderhttp://download.cnet.com/Freecorder/3000-2168_4-10286473.html

7. Or buy audio capture software for $40.00

Open up your volume controls from the systray. Go to recording properties. If you see PC, or Wave, then your sound card will do it. But you still have to have a recording program to execute it. Anyone that records audio will do, heck you could use SoundRecorder, it'll just be in wave format and be a huge file size. I use cool Edit. You just set the recording target to be pc or wave. I think its wave. Hit record, and then play on youtube
