Title: Film director John Hughes passes
Post by: sjonathan02 on August 06, 2009, 09:11:30 PM
80's director John Hughes dies (http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=424766&GT1=28101)

If you loved (or even liked) 'Breakfast Club', 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'; 'Planes, Trains and automobiles' or 'Home Alone' then this will sadden you a bit.

Mr. Hughes was 59. :-\

Yahoo does the same thing, but I changed mine to show me sports.  Of course, people die in the sports world too.  I guess there's no getting around it, huh?

Sixteen Candles is one of my all-time favorite movies.  I watch it EVERY time I catch it on TV.  Farmer Ted is the MAN!!!!!

John Hughes has definitely left a huge legacy.  A true talent.

Sadly, no. And, the fact that this has been the summer of celebrity deaths hasn't helped at all.

Agreed. Beyond a shadow of a doubt this cat hit gold with just about everything he touched in the 80s.
